Happy Birthday! If you don't mind, I may swipe that list from you for future reference-- or at least link to it here. If it makes you feel any better, aside from the fact that I missed most of those movies because we really weren't allowed to watch many, I laughed and understood mostly all of them... and I'm only 32. So, you may be 40, but you still qualify as young. Well...younger anyway!

I can relate to WAY too many of those. I can't believe I had forgotten about ribbon barrettes, and friendship pins on my shoes. Oh, the memories!

Happy Birthday to you - enjoy your special day!

Happy Birthday, Tami! Don't worry: you are still a youngster :) I turned a big 4-0 last month, and you know what? I don't feel any difference!

Happy Birthday! I must say that I have a few years before I hit the big 4...ohh, but these struck way too close to home! Brings back some fun memories!

Christina August 31, 2007 at 12:17 PM

Heee, that was the list I posted on my birthday. I actually compiled it from a bunch of lists I found on the internet, so it's sort of meant to be "swiped" I think. :-)
Happy Happy Birthday. And do be sure to post how absolutely wonderful it is to be 40 because that birthday is not far in my future and I could use some encouragement!!

Christina August 31, 2007 at 12:19 PM

Oh good grief, you aren't the big 4-0 yet!! I need to read more carefully before I comment! You are only like 6 months older than me! 40 is FAR FAR off for us!! (saying is believing, right?!)

Wait a minute...I still own (and wear) banana clips in my hair occasionally. Does that mean I'm out of style?!? And my bangs were never more than 3 inches....lol. Happy B-day Tami! I hope it is a nice one!

Is Eight Enough? September 1, 2007 at 12:17 PM

Happy Birthday!

And thanks for the warm fuzzies! I totally forgot about the ribbon barretts, but when you wrote that I got complete visual! Great memories. Those were the days. Our kids will never know what they missed! LOL! I actually "met" KITT at Universal Studios and he said some really 'interesting' things to me! LOL! Then I saw this guy up on a bandstand with the mic... *grin* More memories!
