Okay was it cute that Maddie was on the vacuum cleaner or cute that your hubby was vacuuming - I just can't decide!!! Loved the birthday post about the big girl and filling the room with balloons. What fun to wake up to! Keep us posted on Maddie's hearing. We're praying your insurance will kick in to cover the aid.

I can ignore the house but can't ignore your dh vacuuming!! I don't think my dh even knows where it is kept!!

Love the video. Maddy is just so sweet!

What a new world she's being exposed to! So cute.

Yeah...She had probably never seen a vacuum cleaner before; they tend to just sweep/mop/and beat rugs in Ukraine. I agree with Troy and Rachael about what's cuter--Maddie or Meshack doing the cleaning! Good luck with your insurance company and the loaner hearing aid; I'm glad that Maddie's joy in the everyday relieves some of the stress for you all. :-)

If her hearing is pretty minimal, she may LOVE the vibrations from the vacuum cleaner. There's a good chance (depending on where her loss is--overall loss or a specific range?) that she can't hear the vacuum cleaner very well, but she can CERTAINLY feel it when she's standing on it! :) :)

Happy Birthday Maddie! I didn't realize we were close to each other (somewhat). We live in Elk Point, SD two hours north or Omaha on I-29. I didn't know that there was an international adoption doctor in Omaha either--boy where have I been. Anyway we'll have to get together sometime in Omaha. Cara

As one comedian I heard put it, "The thing that distinguishes man from all other creature on earth, is that we are the only ones not afraid of the vacuum!"
So glad she and Papa are having bonding time AND your house is getting clean! Do you hire them out? LOL

I just went into your blog again and the problem that I had with it's being over to the left was not there. I could clearly read it.
