One year already! She really has changed and grown up a lot in the last year (not what us mama's want to hear, I know!). She is so precious, and I thank God for uniting you guys!

Yumm! What a great way to celebrate! Do you do this for everyone's family day? Or does it just vary year-to-year?

Ice cream is usually involved, but we usually try to fit in something else family related to the celebration. We usually spend the day doing family stuff...going to a museum, movie or other fun stuff. Unfortunately, this year finances are a little thin so we stuck with just the ice cream. That...and we're trying to figure out what day to actually celebrate. I didn't get custody of Maddie until the 24th...and then she didn't come home until the 3rd of Feb. We'll get it figured out, but in the meantime we wanted to mark the importance of the day.

How did you decide for the other 3? Day you actually got custody or the day you arrived back home?

Love the picture you took of Shad taking a close-up of his ice cream cone.

A suggestion for free family fun - sliding. You sure have the snow where you live.

It is hard to believe that it has already been a year! BR looks yummy. We have to go to Anchorage to get it. Which is a good thing for my thighs! ;) Alek is so handsome. He is only one year older than Natalie ya know?!

Hmmm...and Natalie is such a cutie! The only problem is Alek thinks all girls have cooties...well, that and you guys live in ALASKA!!! ;>)
